Pregnancy can be exciting and discomfort, both at the same time. After you conceive a child, hormonal changes in your body take place and the enlargement of your uterus can generate a lot of symptoms. Some women out there can cope better with these symptoms, while others find it very uncomfortable. With most of the symptoms of pregnancy, there exist no threats, neither for you nor for your fetus. However, in some cases, these symptoms can be the signs of some serious medical conditions. So, it is critical for you to identify which symptoms are harmless and for which symptoms you should see your gynaecologist immediately.

In this post, we are going to unfold some of the most common discomforting symptoms and ways to cope with them. So, without any further delay, let us get started:

Nausea and Vomiting

Commonly referred to as morning sickness, nausea and vomiting are the two most common symptoms of pregnancy that you will probably experience during the first three months of your pregnancy. Doctors are yet to figure out what causes nausea and vomiting exactly during pregnancy, but they say it is has something to do with pregnancy hormones. To combat the symptoms of nausea and vomiting, you should not let yourself starve completely, neither overeat. To cut the story short, have smaller meals, but frequently.

Breast Tenderness

After you conceive a child, your breast starts the production of milk that results in its tenderness. Hormonal changes also play a role in the same. You will probably notice the changes in your breast by the sixth to the eighth week of pregnancy. You should not get yourself bothered with breast tenderness and it shall subside by the fourth month. To combat the condition of breast tenderness, opt for bras that can support your enlarging breast and hold up the extra weight.

Fatigue

It is common to feel fatigue with a strong urge to take a nap very frequently during pregnancy. As your fetus develops, your body needs to work harder while undergoing several physical and emotional changes. You are not alone. Most of the women out there experience fatigue throughout their pregnancy journey. Light to moderate exercise, a healthy diet, and proper rest as and when required are some of the many ways you can utilise to combat fatigue during your pregnancy.

Final Words:

As we said, pregnancy is a very exciting and joyful event. But with all these positive experiences comes little discomforting symptoms too. If you find any of the pregnancy symptoms to be too discomforting, consider speaking with your doctor rather than making assumptions.
